As PRO BAR continues its relentless Anti-Illegal Drug Operations, one (1) DI-listed Street Level Individual along with his three (3) cohorts were arrested by combined operatives of Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, 1st BPMFPC, 2nd BPMFC, and Tipo-Tipo MPS in coordination with PDEA-BAR during the conduct of buy bust operation which resulted to the dismantling of drug den at Barangay Bohe-Bessey, Lamitan City, Basilan on April 22, 2022.
 
Reports from Basilan PPO identified the target suspect as Timih Dokol y Aslan, 45 years old, Rubber farmer, formerly surrendered DI-listed Street-Level in 2019, and a resident of Barangay Bohe-Bessey, Lamitan City, Basilan. Also arrested for the possession and presence in the drug den were Rajim Aharin y Ahang (an MNLF member of Camp Sabbaha Bohe Becca), Arham Garapsil y Mukahalul, and Masil Ublimmin y Haimin.
 
Through an intel-driven operation, a poseur buyer was able to purchase one (1) piece of medium sized heat-sealed white transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu from the target suspect. After the transaction, the operatives immediately effected an arrest against the suspect along with 3 other individuals present inside the drug den and who are in possession of suspected shabu.
 
Confiscated pieces of evidence from the arrested suspects' possessions and control were: 1 piece of medium sized heat-sealed white transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu (Object of Sale); two (2) pieces of heat-sealed white transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu; three (3) pieces of small heat-sealed green transparent plastic straw containing suspected Shabu; one (1) piece of small heat-sealed blue green transparent plastic straw containing suspected Shabu with a total weight of 2.65 grams and SDP of Php 18,020; and Php 5,000.00 Marked Money.
 
The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to Basilan PPO, Menzi, Isabela City, Basilan for proper disposition.
Appropriate charges of Violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects.
 
PBGen Arthur R Cabalona, Regional Director, PRO BAR, lauded the combined operatives' relentless efforts that resulted to the arrest of the suspects and dismantling the said drug den. Further, the Regional Director reiterates that PRO BAR will continue to implement the Revitalized Oplan Double Barrel also known as ADORE which seeks reinforcement and education-based strategy of the government against illegal drugs.
