Arrival of 54 PNP Personnel from NCRPO

The PRO ARMM Command Group, Regional Staff, and key officers of Basilan PPO received in Zamboanga City the 52 NCRPO Personnel reassigned to PRO ARMM last February 21, 2017. Upon the arrival of the said personnel at the Andrew Air base in Zamboanga City, the Police Regional Office ARMM, through its Regional Personnel and Human Resource and Development Division (RPHRDD) conducted a head-to-head accounting of the NCRPO PNP personnel for their initial turnover. After which, they are transported to Basilan PPO via WESTMINCOM naval asset. A final round of accounting and documentation of the said personnel was conducted at the Basilan PPO Provincial Headquarters at Brgy. Menzi, Isabela City, Basilan. A 3-day orientation with morale recovery activities was also initiated at Basilan PPO, purposely to assist the NCRPO-based policemen in adjusting and adapting to the environment, culture and people of their new assignment.
The reassignment or transfer of PNP personnel is not a disciplinary action, but simply a strategic movement or utilization of the PNP or any of its units and personnel to effectively carry out the functions and duties of the organization (Media Lines PNP).
Out of 287 ‘’Scalawag’’ PNP personnel presented to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte last February 7, 2017, only 52 of them bravely accepted the pronouncement of the President and accepted their reassignment.
