Parang, Maguindanao – Police Regional Office BAR, with its commitment to keep and allow diversity of this region to prosper by showcasing different cultures, traditions, and festivities, culminated Flores de Mayo and Santacruzan on May 31, 2022 at Camp PBGEN Salipada K Pendatun, Parang, Maguindanao.

Flores de Mayo (Flowers of May) is a Catholic annual tradition devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary, children and youth catechesis, and women empowerment Celebrated with great religious and social significance. This month-long activity was culminated with a SantaCruzan, a ritual pageant held on the last day of Flores de Mayo where we commemorate Queen Helena’s discovery of the Holy Cross.

PCPT ROGEN LEYSON, Chaplain, PRO BAR, spearheaded the activity which highlighted the Catholic’s devotion and promotes the role of women in the church, in the society, and in the lives of every Christian believer.

Part of the activity is the “Search for the Reyna Elena” where selected married PNP Personnel will join and represent their respective offices through a fund raising contest where the proceeds will be used for the construction of the new Parish Office.
